Antagonizer and Colonizer have been developed by Metcalf biocontrol. The products contain spores of Trichoderma spp. whic inhibits the growth of Botrytis  and Monilinia spp. It is environmental friendly and there is no evidence of any harm to human health.

 

Antagonizer contains Trichoderma harzianum (Td81b) which helps to control brown rot in stone fruits including cherries. It is adapted to colonizing the flower and competing with the fungal pathogens. 

 

Colonizer contains Trichoderma koningii (Td67) which colonizes the grape flowers, and competes with Botrytis cinerea, resulting in as much as 80% less Botrytis bunch rot at veraison.
